Garryhinch Wood Exotic is Ireland leading supplier of Fresh Organic Exotic Mushrooms. We are nicely situated on the banks of the river Barrow on
the borders of counties Laois and Offaly. Where we situated gives us direct access North, South, East & West. Our product is harvested by
hand and is individual packed to the demands of the Food Service Customer. The products are grown in environmentally controlled tunnels
using the lasted digital technology, thus optimising energy production from our solar panels. We supply to the food service provides nationwide.

Garryhinch Wood Exotic Mushrooms are grown and packed on our family run farm in County Offaly and are 100% Irish.

SUSTAINABILITY

We feel we have a responsibility to grow our mushrooms as sustainably as possible with as little impact as possible on the planet. We are a circular economic business and are 50% self efficient with our energy source due to installation and investment with solar panels

SHELF LIFE

Because our mushrooms are grown in organic material they have a long shelf life, standard grown mushrooms have a much shorter shelf life.

Garryhinch Wood Exotic Mushrooms

We are a family run organic mushroom farm located on the banks of the river Barrow in County Offaly. We cultivate our exotic mushrooms on wooden blocks made only from trees sourced from sustainably managed forests. These tasty mushrooms are also extremely versatile and can be used in a whole host of dishes!

Our Ethos

Our ethos is to produce high quality organic exotic mushrooms that are tasty and appetising whilst delivering an array of health and nutritional benefits. Our products are grown under carefully controlled conditions and hence are available all year round. Our spent mushroom substrate is recycled back to nature in classical circular fashion by using it as a soil enhancer on local land.
